CAROLINE DION
Contemporary figurative art

Originally from Dolbeau, Lac Saint-Jean, she has put down roots in Victoriaville.

The artist expresses her subjects with great emotion. She uses acrylics, ink, and oils according to her inspiration. Whether with a palette knife or brushes, her style is described as vibrant and expressive. The human figure is her primary source of inspiration, but many other subjects also capture her attention. Regardless of the source, color and emotion are always present.

The artist, fortunately, has the ability to express her feelings in multiple forms without losing herself in the process. You will therefore find in her creations an ever-evolving process that reflects her bohemian spirit and her analytical nature. The collections "Serenity," "Skin Deep," and "Masked" offer the public her vision of an inner duality or complicity.

With a passion for exploring the full potential of all mediums, continuous exploration is essential. For her, these are crucial steps in presenting a well-executed body of work. She paints to satisfy a hyperactive artistic imagination and, at the same time, to release raw emotions. Her love for the arts dates back to her early childhood and will always remain a part of her lifestyle and the memory of her brushstrokes.

Notable exhibitions: Several in Paris, including the Carrousel du Louvre, followed by exhibitions in Switzerland, Brittany, the United States, Canada, and Quebec. Many of his paintings have been featured in: Musée Louis-Hémon (solo exhibition), Musée Pierre-Boucher (solo exhibition), Musée Laurier (solo exhibition), and numerous group exhibitions in museums in Quebec, the United States, Europe, and many other places.
