This talisman is inspired by a little experiment my son and I undertook this summer: pollinating squash blossoms. The experiment wasn't successful in pots at our 13th arrondissement home in Quebec City, so we moved the plants to our garden in Longueuil where bees and other insects took care of the rest. And there you have it! Several little squashes sprouted. Lots of love in this little gem.

 The ebony wood beads were carved in Martinique by my father, Félix, from an old, broken statue brought back from Africa. The piece was then assembled in Quebec City by Cécile using high-quality materials.
